Hello all! It’s been a busy year for us here at The Saturday night Slasher. There is a lot going on behind the scenes and we can’t wait to share it all with you. We have a few things to announce and we’ll have even more announcements coming up in the New Year. And yes, one of those announcements is that the webcomic will be resuming in the near future. Stay tuned for that date but for now though let’s dig into the latest of all the goings ons.

We have an Etsy Store now!

One of the most common questions I get is where can I buy a physical copy of The Saturday Night Slasher? Well, look no further because we are now on Etsy! The name of our shop is ArtoftheSlash. There are pins, die cut stickers, art prints, and most importantly The Saturday Night Slasher Issue #1! It’s just 5 bucks and each order comes with a surprise bonus gift! Head over to the shop and check out everything we have to offer.

Retro Invasion Weekend!

We’ve booked our first convention appearance of 2019. Look for us at Retro Invasion weekend May 31 – June 2 2019 in Westlake OH. Guests of the convention include Joe Bob Briggs, Robert Kurtzman, Gary Pullin, Danny Hicks, Felissa Rose, Diane Franklin, Courtney Gains, Ayre Gross, and more! Tickets are available now. Head to www.retroinvasionweekend.com for more info.

Holiday Art Show Sketchcovers!

Recently, both Ryan and Steve contributed sketch covers for Carol and John’s Comic Shop Holiday Party & Art Show. The covers were in a raffle alongside the work of other local artists with the proceeds going to the Cleveland Food bank. Through their efforts Carol and John’s will be assisting the food bank in creating 120,084 meals this year.

Steve put out together this cheery Christmas message from Dr. Doom.

Ryan was an overachiever and did 2 covers. This Spider-man piece was a popular one among attendees.

Ryan’s is a big fan of the Daredevil Netflix series. I think it shows in this piece.

Saturday Night Slasher Fan Art!

Lastly, this amazing fan art piece was posted on Instagram by artist Justin Stewart. Justin has worked professionally on comics such as Grrl Scouts, Miami Vice Remix, Howard the Human, and Clerks. It was jaw droppingly awesome to see someone else’s take on the character. You can follow Justin on Instagram @justin3000 and at www.justin3000.com.
